With over a decade of experience spanning academia, industry, and the public sector, Monica has cultivated a dynamic career in project and event management. Her expertise lies in strategic operations, stakeholder engagement, and programme delivery.
Previously, Monica managed the SPHERE project, leading on risk and financial oversight, stakeholder coordination, and impact delivery in partnership with national funders including NIHR and EPSRC. She also coordinated CEDAR’s Children and Young People’s (CYP) clinical training portfolio, strengthening collaboration with health and education partners such as HEE, NHSE, and DfE.
Earlier in her career, Monica held senior positions in the events sector, including Senior Conference Producer at Babcock International Group and Events Manager at the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), where she delivered major conferences and commercial events across the UK and internationally.
