​Digitally Enhanced Advanced Services (DEAS) Network+ has several calls for proposals out, with deadlines approaching imminently. Here’s a summary:

Literature Review Call

The DEAS Network+ is inviting proposals for exploratory scanning studies that should focus on examples of changes in business models through use of new digital technologies in insurance and the financing of service contracts. Exploratory studies should include an in-depth literature review in the chosen area but might also consider cases of current practice, surveys of multiple businesses, or analyses and syntheses of economic data.

Individual projects can request up to £10,000 total budget (total budget up to £10,000 FEC with 80% funded by the grant). Projects should be completed by June 2021 and start as soon as practical.

Closing date: Friday 12 February 2021.

Finance Scoped Projects Call

The Digitally Enhanced Advanced Services (DEAS) Network+ has released a call inviting proposals for research that addresses the challenges of one of our industry partners from Financial Services. Details of our projects partners can be found below. Proposals are invited up to £20,000 (Full Economic Cost) that address the call criteria. The call is of interest to researchers in Finance and Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering and Change Management.

Closing date: Friday 5 March 2021.

Open Call

The DEAS network+ is inviting small proposals for DEAS based research addressing challenges related to at least one of the questions from either of the research agendas that have been published by the DEAS Network+. Individual projects can request up to £5,000 (Full Economic Cost) that address the call criteria. Projects should last 6 months or less and start as soon as practical. Projects might be based on cases of current practice, surveys of multiple businesses, or analyses and syntheses of economic data.
