Saeema Ahmed-Kristensen, co-investigator, joins a fireside panel focusing on early-career researchers.
The UKRI Digital Twin Network’s (DTNet+) general assembly brought together industry and academia across multiple disciplines and sectors. The research councils’ funded grants are great examples of promoting and supporting Early Career Researchers (ECRs).
Saeema Ahmed-Kristensen, co-investigator and lead of the Human Representation and Interaction Special Interest Group, joined a fireside panel focusing on Early Career Researchers, with questions prepared by ECR leads, including Matt Boehn. In her role as Special Interest Group lead, she facilitated breakout sessions with industry and academics, with Dr Karl Johnson from INDEX and DIGIT Lab also attending. The discussions focused on human representation and engagement in Digital Twins, work that aligns closely with human-in-the-loop Digital Twin research.
Upcoming Workshop – November 2025 A workshop is planned for industry and public sector organisations interested in Digital Twin applications that require human representation. Led by Prof. Saeema Ahmed-Kristensen.
